Implants are not right for everyone, and a well-made denture is not a consolation prize. The tradeoffs are worth reading before you talk to anyone, including us.
Implant-Supported Teeth

- Anchored in bone, so they do not move when you eat or speak. Most patients stop being aware of them.
- What you can eat
- Close to natural bite force once healed. Steak, apples, corn.
- Bone
- Loading the bone slows the shrinkage that follows tooth loss, so facial shape holds better over time.
- Timeline
- Four to six months from placement to final teeth, with provisional teeth throughout.
- Honest tradeoff
- It is a procedure, it costs more up front, and it requires enough bone or a graft to build it.
Full Dentures
Removable
- How they feel
- Rest on the gums. Lower dentures in particular can shift, and most people notice them.
- What you can eat
- A noticeably reduced bite force. Hard and sticky foods stay difficult.
- Bone
- Bone continues to resorb underneath, which is why dentures need relining and eventually remaking.
- Timeline
- Weeks, not months. This is the faster route by a wide margin.

- Lower cost and no procedure, at the price of stability and long-term bone support.
Partial Dentures
Removable, clips to your own teeth
- How they feel
- Held by clasps on the healthy teeth you still have. Steadier than a full denture, though you will notice the clasps at first.
- What you can eat
- Better than a full denture because your own teeth share the load. Very hard or sticky foods can still loosen it.
- Bone
- Bone keeps shrinking where teeth are missing, so the fit changes over time and relines are normal.
- Timeline
- A few weeks, made in our on-site lab.
- Honest tradeoff
- The lowest-cost way to fill gaps, but it only works while the supporting teeth stay healthy, and the clasps put extra stress on them.

There is also a hybrid. An implant-retained denture uses two to four implants to hold a removable denture firmly in place, which costs less than a fixed full arch and solves most of the movement problem. We will tell you at the consultation which of these your mouth actually supports.

Transitional RPD
A temporary partial placed right after extractions to maintain appearance and basic chewing ability. Acts as a placeholder while gums heal and the permanent restoration is being prepared for placement.
Overdenture
A removable denture that snaps over retained tooth roots or dental implants for significantly added stability. Offers better retention than a standard denture and helps preserve the underlying jawbone structure over time.
Flexi Flipper
A flexible, metal-free partial made from lightweight thermoplastic material for a comfortable, natural-looking fit. More aesthetic than traditional partials and especially ideal for replacing visible front teeth in the smile.
Cast RPD
A metal-framework partial that clasps securely onto remaining natural teeth for a stable, long-lasting fit. One of the most durable removable options available and well-suited for patients with several healthy remaining teeth.
Regular Flipper
The most affordable partial denture option, constructed from basic acrylic material for short-term use. Best suited for patients during the healing period following tooth loss before a permanent restoration is placed.
Implant/Abutment/Crown
A titanium implant placed into the jawbone, topped with an abutment and custom porcelain crown. Looks and functions just like a natural tooth and is considered the gold standard for single tooth replacement.
Bonding
Tooth-colored composite resin applied and sculpted directly onto the tooth to correct chips, gaps, or discoloration. A quick and affordable cosmetic fix that is typically completed entirely in a single office visit.
Implant Bridge
Multiple missing teeth replaced using implants as anchors rather than crowning the adjacent natural teeth. Preserves surrounding healthy tooth structure while delivering a fixed, permanent, and completely natural-looking dental solution.
Crown
A porcelain or metal cap that fully covers a damaged or weakened tooth to restore its shape and function. Commonly placed following root canals, large fillings, or significant decay to protect the remaining tooth structure.
Bridge
A fixed restoration crowning the teeth on either side of a gap with a false tooth between them. Permanently cemented in place to restore chewing function and prevent neighboring teeth from shifting out of position.
Veneers
Thin porcelain or composite shells bonded directly to the front surface of teeth for a dramatically improved appearance. Correct stains, chips, minor misalignment, or gaps with a natural-looking result achieved in just two visits.

The Ones That Keep People Waiting.
Does it hurt?
You do not feel the procedure. It is done under local anesthesia, with sedation available if you want it. Afterwards, most patients describe soreness rather than pain, managed with prescribed medication and ice for the first two or three days. Plan a quiet weekend. Most people are back at work inside a week.
How long am I without teeth?
For most full-arch cases, you are not. A fixed provisional set goes on the same day as placement, so you leave with teeth in place. You wear that set while the implants integrate, and it is replaced by your final teeth once healing is confirmed. If your case cannot be immediately loaded, we tell you that before you commit, not after.
What if I have bone loss?
Bone loss is expected after years of missing or failing teeth, and it rarely rules implants out on its own. The 3D CBCT scan shows exactly what you have. Depending on the picture, the options are grafting, angled implants that use the bone you still have, or zygomatic implants for severe cases. Patients who have been turned away elsewhere are worth a second opinion.
What does it cost?
It depends on how many implants are placed, whether grafting is needed, and what the final teeth are made of, which is why an honest number is not possible before the scan. After the consultation you get one written figure covering the whole plan, with the monthly equivalent next to it. Financing at 0% is available for all credit types, and the payment estimator on this page gives a rough monthly figure.
How long do they last?
The implant is titanium and is designed to stay for life, with long-term success rates published above 95 percent. The teeth attached to it are a restoration, and like anything in the mouth they wear. Expect maintenance over the years and possible replacement of the teeth themselves at some point. That is normal, and it is not the same as implant failure.
I have avoided dentists for years. Is that a problem?
No, and it is more common here than you would think. Nobody comments on the state of your teeth. The consultation is a scan and a conversation, and you set the pace from there.
Can I pay in stages?
Yes. Payments can follow the stages of treatment, so you are not paying for the final teeth before they are made. Combined with 0% financing, most patients spread the cost across the whole timeline and never face one large bill.
